Covenant Lite, a one-time-purchase entry edition, and the Covenant Bridge browser extension
On October 5, 2026, Exapolicy LLC released Covenant Lite and the Covenant Bridge browser extension, and updated Covenant Personal Edition to 1.3.0.
■ Covenant Lite — checks exactly what you wrote
Covenant Lite checks, on your own PC, whether what you are about to send to a cloud AI contains personal information, API keys, or terms you have defined. The check is literal: it does not judge context and does not use AI to evaluate. No local AI is required, so you can start on the computer you already have.
It is a one-time purchase. There is no recurring payment.
Conversations and policies you build in Covenant Lite carry over to Covenant Personal Edition, for when you need the context of a contract or a company name written differently to be taken into account.
■ Covenant Bridge — the same policies in your browser
Covenant Bridge is an extension for Chrome and Edge. What you send to claude.ai, chatgpt.com, and gemini.google.com is checked against the same policies before it is sent. The check is done by Covenant on your own computer; the text is not sent outside your computer for the check. It works with both Covenant Lite and Covenant Personal Edition. After adding the extension, reload any AI chat tabs (claude.ai, chatgpt.com, gemini.google.com) that are already open. Tabs that were open before you added it are not checked.
■ Covenant Personal Edition 1.3.0
This update adds support for Covenant Bridge, detection of API keys and other credentials, and carry-over from Covenant Lite. It also fixes cases where an input you had set to be stopped could still pass, and makes custom audit-report periods bounded by your device's local time.
